The Thunder over the Sound Air and Space Show is coming to Keesler Air Force Base on April 29-30, 2023. This is an exciting event for aviation enthusiasts and families who want to witness the power and precision of the United States Air Force.
During the show, visitors will have the opportunity to witness some of the most famous aerial performers in the world, including the US Air Force Thunderbirds, one of the most skilled and famous aerial demonstration teams in the world. In addition to the Thunderbirds, other renowned performers such as the GEICO Skytypers, a team of World War II-era planes, and Skip Stewart, an aerobatic pilot, will also be performing.
There will be a Kid's Zone, food vendors, and a static display area where visitors can explore the planes on the ground and talk to pilots and crew members. Make sure to visit our static display with the Hurricane Hunter WC-130J, and check out the other planes on display.
Admission to the show is $10 per person, and children under 6 can enter for free. VIP packages are also available, offering special access and amenities like shaded seating areas, private restrooms, and catered meals.
If you can't make it onto the base, there are several great viewing spots outside of the perimeter to witness the action. Biloxi Beach, Gulfport Municipal Airport, and Beau Rivage Resort and Casino are popular options.
